MOMO Steering wheel copy
My old 14" steering wheel gave out on me a few days ago. Well, it served me for more than 3 years. I think that's a good enough deal for a 1,400-peso worth sports steering wheel. After a thorough search, I found the right steering wheel- a MOMO copy and its only 1,800 pesos. I don't need original ones, I'm not going to join a car show anyway so what's the point right? At least it's something economical and something I can use for the next few years.

Super Black Tint
The sun's rays are killing me inside. OK. I know that the Nissan has a strong A/C. That's reality. But you know, summer is just around the corner and the heat of the sun can be very annoying at times. It also hurts my eyes when I drive. So, I thought of getting a super black car tint to stop UV rays.
Range of prices are 3,000 pesos and up for 3M brand. However, I just wanted a cheaper alternative car tint. What did I fine? I saw hi-cool and I have my tint for just 1,800 pesos. Not bad right? Now, where do you go to get good and fast service? I went to Carland in Makati City. The guys there are pretty nice. You can look for Ping, he is my contact there. A very accommodating guy who gives a well thought opinion about things.
So what are you waiting for? Get that car tint that you deserve! Happy summer everyone and see you in the beaches! I might bring my Nissan B13 down south next month. Stay tuned!

Cleaning my Carb
In Manila, prices range from 800 pesos to 2,500 pesos. Yes, it can go that far especially in Makati at Evangelista.
So which auto shop did the job for me? PY Auto shop in Sta. Maria, Bulacan. Those guys are the best. No more dark smoke, no more ailing engine.
How much? I just spent 450 pesos. That's it. Sta. Maria is just about 20kms from Manila so it's not really that far. Look for Jonathan, he's a kind and funny guy. They also do a lot of things like alignment, tune-ups, minor electrical problems, etc.
Introducing my B13
My car is a 1993 LEC model. It comes with a stock, manual GA carburetor engine. I never made any major changes except for the power steering conversion a few years ago. Everything else is pretty much how it used to be.
I have been with my car for over 10 years now. Back in college, we used to roll everywhere in Luzon. My group of friends usually drive Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, and Kia. I'm the only guy riding in a Nissan Sentra. They don't really like my ride because its being used as a taxi here in Manila. But when they rode one time, they said it was a very unforgettable experience. Why? Because my air condition is top-notch. This is what separates Nissan from other manufacturers. For over 10 years, my a/c is still in its prime and other car owners would attest to that. Even the brand new cars are just at par with my a/c. It's comfortable, its fast and its one of the most fuel efficient rides I have ever seen.
Will I buy a new car? Probably. But it will still be Nissan. That's for sure.
